Chingu is a an idea which starts from a bamboo pen. A pen is like a friend ( chingu meaning friend in Korean) . This is an initiation by the teacher and a group of students. The intention behind Chingu pens are to make the Artist or PUblic to have more reason to make drawings and also experience the subtle feeling of drawings and writing by using different nibs which are specially made for lines and calligraphy.

                         The cultural aspects of Korea and China are very much bound with Calligraphy, Pottery and martial arts. India also had a wide variety of expressions through calligraphy. But far eastern culture have maintained the traditional qualities to their contemporary life by keeping calligraphy and drawings through bamboo pens and brushes.
